Scottish Churches World Exchange will close on 31st July 2010 and with it an experiment in ecumenical and international co-operation will come to an end. SCWE was about building capacity through sending volunteers, delivering courses and managing specialist projects. It has been tremendous fun and we have been delighted by stories from former volunteers who have gone on to make use of their experience in ways they could not have imagined previously.

We wish all you - former volunteers and hosts - joy and fulfilment in whatever you go on to do. As Patsy Colvin used to say at the SCWE Preparation Course....  “always do the friendliest thing”.
