Likhubula House

Malawi's first Mountain Activity Centre

Likhubula House, at the gateway to Mulanje Mountain, is both a wonderful place to stay and an exciting community project.

Situated in 22 acres of its own grounds and offering private chalet accommodation for leaders and family groups, and including good dormitory accommodation for youth groups.  We also manage the historic CCAP Hope Rest Cottage on Lichenya plateau near the airstrip.

You are welcome to holiday at Likhubula in one of our excellent self-catering chalets. Refurbished in 2006 by Jan Jaap Sonke, these Chalets offer a comfortable stay with the knowledge that you tourist dollar is helping a community project.

Likhubula provides a base for youth events, community groups, and most recently offers respite breaks for orphans and their carers.
